Juneau, May 28

Sunday, We tried breakfast in the Rotterdam dining room. The company was great but the service was bad. Couldn't get onions in my hash browns. Coffee refills were slow. We eventually went down to the Lido and had hot coffee. We got to see a pod of dolphins out the window at Breakfast and Cliff got to see his first whale, three in fact. Today is the Helicopter and Dogsled ride on the Mendenhall glacier, I'm excited. Need to download pictures and charge the battery of the camera. It is a polar fleece day. It is exciting to see land on both sides and snow covered mountains already. I think I will go put on some socks. At breakfast we sat with sisters who were married to brothers. They were from Modesto, CA., and they were fun. When we saw the porpoises/dolphins the one brother said...”Oh, the captain released the dolphins!” We all had a good laugh.
